Pre-kidding

You start reserving your kids from a certain breeding or your adults by emailing us. A $50 deposit will hold your babies for two weeks after birth or adults for two weeks, during which you need to make arrangements for full payment. If no arrangements are made, the deposit is forfeit and the animal will be offered for sale to another home.

Paid reservations will have priority over unpaid ones. Babies will be shown on a first paid, first come basis. Likewise, adults. Deposits will be returned if no satisfactory animal is found. Deposits can be transferred to different animals by private arrangement. They cannot be transferred to a different person.

Once the Kids Arrive

We will email you photos and information. Come visit to meet your babies.

Discounts are offered for taking home multiple animals at the same time.

Paying the entire purchase price will keep the kids here until they are weaned (8 to 12 weeks, depending on individual kid). A $2 per day boarding fee will be charged for any animals remaining after their agreed upon pickup date.

You also have the option of taking your doe or buck home at one month after birth and bottle feeding them yourself. While we can take no responsibility for your success, we will be glad to help with advice.

Registered does and bucks leaving after weaning will be disbudded (shouldn’t have horns anymore), vaccinated, tattooed, and registered with the American Dairy Goat Association. Wethers cannot be registered, but will be disbudded and vaccinated. They will be wethered at approximately 8 weeks and be ready to go home.

Travel & Testing & The Final Nitty-Gritty

Transportation, Health Certification, and health testing required by the buyer’s state is the responsibility of the buyer.

Our breeders are routinely tested for CAE, CL, and Johne’s Disease. They are negative for all three.

You are welcome to pay for any additional testing you might desire. Your deposit will be returned if the animal is unsatisfactory before it leaves here.

All animals are sold as healthy. If there are any concerns at the time of pickup by either you or us, other arrangements can be made.

All goat sales are final once they leave our possession. We can make no further guarantees of health or quality. Coaching, however, is always available.
